I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I’M A CHEESY PERSON AND I LOVE SOME CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE!! I LOOOOOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BOOK.

People who love romantic stuff should READ THIS BOOK!!

“I love you as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul.”

This book follows a girl named Anna Oliphant. She has a happy life in Atlanta but her father wants her to study in a boarding school in Paris (YES, PARIS, THE CITY OF LIGHTS!!!) for her senior year. Anna meets amazing people and the AMAZING ÉTIENNE ST. CLAIR. They become best friends, but they start to feel something more than a friendship. The bad thing is that my baby, Étienne, is taken.

Anna Oliphant is amazing! I love how much she loves movies and to write reviews about them. She’s my heroin because she went to Paris and she did not speak a word of French at all… so she tried to learn as fast as she could. She started to make bad decisions because she was dealing with loneliness. Feeling lonely isn’t pleasant at all, believe me. She loves Étienne with her entire soul.

Étienne, OH MY DEAR ÉTIENNE ST. CLAIR, I love you with my life. This man is amazing, cute, funny, HOT and so much more. His love for his mother was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever read. If Anna loves with her entire soul, this man loves with his soul, heart and EVERYTHING. Girls, He has an English accent!!! How cute and sexy is that?

I read this book a year ago and I loved it. Now it was time to re-read it again and I LOVE IT SO MUCH, MORE THAN I DID BEFORE. I love how well developed was the romance, the friendships, the fights… well, everything. I was never interested about going to Paris, but now I want and I need to go. AND I’M SERIOUS! I’ll probably re-read this next year… AGAIN. Hands down to Stephanie Perkins!!!

“For the two of us, home isn’t a place. It’s a person. And we’re finally home.”
