UK vs. US Covers!

Hello everyone! I was watching some videos, and today Kassidy Voinche post a video comparing UK vs. US covers. I found it really interesting so I decided to write a post about it. Here’s the link to see her video: Covers! | UK vs. US. Now… without further ado, let’s get started.

1. An Ember in the Ashes by Saba Tahir

(UK vs. US)

I don’t know if you guys agree with me but, I like the UK cover more than the US one. I don’t even know why but I think it’s gorgeous… it is simple but at the same time it has some pretty details.

2. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

(UK vs. US)

I love the colors on the UK cover, but the details on the US cover are stunning. So… I have to go with the US cover.

3. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

(UK vs. US)

The Mortal Instruments Series iss one of my favorites series in the world. I have to say that I love the spine of the US covers, but I’m in love with the UK covers. I just wish I could have them.

4. The Iron Trial by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black

(UK vs. US)

BOTH covers are stunning. The only thing I don’t like about the UK cover is that it has a lot of white. I love the mystery and the details on the US cover.

5. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan

(US vs. UK)

I just don’t like the UK covers. The US covers are beautiful and simple. The UK ones have way to much color and details I don’t like.

There you have it guys. I hope you enjoy this post. Share with me in the comments which covers you like the most. Thank you so much for reading, and have a great day/evening/night!

  1. Definitely digging the revamp that the Mortal Instruments got. I would love to hear your opinion about the alt. covers for the Infernal Devices, as well – as gorgeous as the new covers are, I personally prefer the originals with their attention to detail and the close-ups of the models. Out of your list, I think the UK cover of the Ember in the Ashes is my favorite. Adding that edition to my to-own shelf for sure.
