This series follows Charlie and Silas. They were a couple and when they broke up they started losing their memories every 48 hours.
What would you do if you lose your memory every 48 hours? I don’t even know. It would be a disaster. I’ll probably lose my memory five times until I figure out what should I do to start looking for answers. It was good that these two decided to write everything they knew in order to have notes by their side once they lose their memories again. Once they connected every clue and discovered what was really happening, I was shocked and impressed. I think that was kind of cute, you know. This series bring us the meaning of soul mates. Some people find it cheesy or pathetic, but I’m a hopeless romantic so I liked it.
This book is a roller coaster and of course the beginning was a little bit confusing, but intriguing. When you start reading this book, you can’t stop… you just want to know what is going to happen next. The character development is on point. At first there’s a shy Silas and Charlie, but then they are more brave. When you finish the first book you will be like “I need answers”, but in the second book you will get some answers but you will have more questions too. Obviously, you will have all your answers in the third book. The thing I liked the most of the final book was the epilogue. It was so cute reading about their future, and mostly, about their daughter’s relationship.
If these would’ve been combined into a standalone novel, I’m pretty sure a lot of people would’ve liked it more. Overall, it was a great and cute story and I really recommend it if you want to read some cool mystery.
This isn’t a great review, but I just wanted to say those things about this series. If you have read this book, let me know your thoughts about it in the comments below. Thank you so much for reading, until next time. Xoxo.
