October has come and I want to read dark books.
I had a really bad reading month last month (haha). I decided to have a short, but dark TBR for October because I love this month. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of all times. I like how we can dress up as anything we want, and we can be little kids again.
Anyway, I want to read at least four books this month because I know I’ll be busy with Midterms. Before writing this post I had decided which books I wanted to read, and I finished one last night. I’m still gonna mention it her so, without further ado, let’s get into the books.
1. Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
I finished this one last night. My review will be up later this week, but I have one thing to say for now: My soul is shattered.
2. Coraline by Neil Gaiman
I’m about to start this one. It’s a short read, but I’ve heard amazing things about Gaiman’s book so, we’ll see.
3. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Who doesn’t love this book? Seriously, every single person I know loves this book so, obviously I have to read it. The sequel (and last book) came out a couple of days ago and I need it.
4. This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
I bought this book two weeks ago when I met Victoria at the Boston Teen Author Festival. I’m looking forward to read it because her writing is magical.
As I mentioned before, I already finished Empire of Storms and I loved it so much. I know I’m gonna be busy this month (and the rest of the year to be honest), but I’m trying to make time to read a little bit every day. I feel bad when I don’t read fast, but I know I don’t have to feel that way. No matter if I read 10 pages a day, at least I’m reading.
Every book in my TBR has amazing ratings so, I’m pretty sure (if I read them all) I’m gonna have an amazing reading month. My mind is screaming “Nino, 4 books? You’re so lame” hahaha, but whatever.
Let me know in the comments which books you’re planning on reading in the month of October. If you’ve read any of the books I mentioned, feel free to tell me your thoughts about them because I would love to know. Thank you so much for reading. Until next time, xoxo!
