October Wrap Up!

Hello everyone!

November is almost here, damn… I moved to Massachusetts on August and it’s already *almost* November?! This is crazy. I finally had an amazing reading month. Even though this month was full of stress and drama, I managed to read five books and I really enjoyed them. I thought I wasn’t going to have time to read, but I did and I’m so happy. Reading great books was what I needed. But without further ado, let’s get into the books I read in the month of October.

1. A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

This book was incredibly amazing. I loved the characters, especially Delilah Bard. Traveling through different Londons is a dream now.

Read my review here… 5 out of 5 stars.

2. Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

Sarah J. Maas did it again. This queen broke my heart in a million pieces once again, but I love it. If you haven’t read the Throne of Glass series, you totally should.

3. Coraline by Neil Gaiman

This was definitely a weird read. I’ve been trying to write a review for it, but I just can’t find the correct words to describe this book. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

4. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Read my review here… 5 out of 5 stars.

5. Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven

I adored this book. I read it when I was feeling sad and alone, and this book made me feel okay. I love how Jennifer’s writing is so powerful, how it helps us. I highly recommend you all to read this.

There you have it, those are the books I read in the month of October. I loved this book, and how much I suffered while reading them, haha.

Another thing I did this month and I really enjoyed was that I filmed to videos. They are up on my YouTube channel, and it would be so nice if you go to watch them and if you subscribe. I want to keep filming soon so, stay tuned for that. My videos are book related so, you don’t want to miss that.

My lovely friend, Molly @ Molly’s Book Nook opened a bookish merchandise shop called Blu Bear Bazaar, and I’m totally in love with her store. She works so hard to make beautiful designs for all of us so, please go and support this store. You can follow her at Twitter and Instagram. Go to the store and tell me your favorite item, I would love to know.

You’ll find tote bags, mugs, shirts, phone cases, pillows and more. I bought something from her store recently and I cannot wait to have it on my hands.

P.S. I’m thinking about choosing one item from her store to giveaway so, stay tuned for that as well.

I mentioned about probably taking a break because I’m not feeling well lately, but if you’re interested on reading more about it feel free to read this post: Should I Take A Break? Will It Make Me Feel Better?

Please, let me know in the comments the books you read this month, or what you did in general. I love talking to you guys. Thank you so much for reading. Until next time, xoxo!

  1. Aaah Nino, I’m so glad you loved ADSOM !! Shades of Magic is my favorite series of all times and Delilah is one of the best written characters I’ve ever read !!
Holding up the Universe and Six of Crows are both on my TBR and I really hope to get to them soon !

  2. Ah girl, Niven’s writing is really uplifting (in an odd way) so I’m glad that her book helped you through a bit of a harder time for you. Also, THANK YOU for the shout out ❤ I hope November is easier for you 🙂
